F60 Paranoid IPA vom Labieratorium, Fläschchen per Post von der Bierothek, Bamberg. - Orangerot, gut trüb. - In der Nase üppige IPA-Hopfenaromen, nicht zu herbe Pampelmuse, marmeladige Mango, Nadelwald und Harz. - Antrunk kernig hopfenherb mit süßer, vor allem aber stark bitterer Orangenkonfitüre. Wirklich wuchtige Hopfenbittere. Milder rezent, ölig schwer, leicht trocken. Krass harzig-pampelmusig bitterer Abgang. - Knallig herbes, marmeladig-orangenbitteres IPA, das für meinen Geschmack etwas runder sein könnte. Trotzdem schade, daß dies schon mein letztes Bier vom Laboratorium ist - diese Burschen haben in den wenigen Jahren ihres Wirkens eine steile Lernkurve hingelegt und hatten ganz klar Potential.

Bottle. Clear deep amber color with white head. Aroma is lightly smoky, herbal, rosemary, quite fruity, a touch funk. Taste is smoked, bread, rosemary. Silky mouthfeel with low carbonation. Tasty!

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts mild, malty, more and more hoppy-fruity. Notes of lemon, light sourish hints. Well balanced finish with fresh hoppy-fruity notes. Light soapy hints. Nice one!

330ml bottle, thanks to Kolschtrinker for this! Pours a misted amber, frothy fine off-white head. Aroma has a light spiced sweetness, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon. Taste presents a smooth, gently spiced character encompassing these aforementioned elements with a light ginger tickle. 7 months out of date but tasting perfectly fine. Nicely balanced. Not bad at all.

20-02-19 // 330ml bottle. Clear copper golden. White head. Spices in the nose present. Good malty body, the spices dominate the taste. Not really sweet, low bitter.

From the bottle. Brown with a tall, foamy head. Aroma is licorice with a hint of birthday cake. Taste is mildly sweet with lingering notes of chocolate, caramel and coffee. Body is to the lighter side of medium, a touch oily but also watery at times. Decent enough but fails to make a big impression.

WinterTraum vom Labieratorium, Fläschchen per Post von der Bierothek, Bamberg. - Rotgold, leicht trüb. - In der Nase intensive Noten von Ingwer, Kardamom und Orangenschale über warmem Malz. - Im Antrunk frische Gewürznelke und kandierte herbe Orangenschale, eingebettet in weich brotiges Malz mit zarter Restsüße. Auch Lebkuchen und Zimt sind dabei, aber die knackig frische Herbe steht im Vordergrund - ungewöhnlich aber sehr überzeugend! Milder rezent, hefig weich, fülliger Körper. Im Abgang aromatische kräuterige, leicht pfeffrige Hopfenherbe. - Unkonventionelles Winterbier, nicht malzdick und schwerfällig sondern schlank und knackig gewürzig-herb, dabei rund und auf seine Weise völlig überzeugend. Schade, daß die Burschen ihr Labor schließen mußten ...
