A rather sweet zwickel. Malt, light noble hop character. Hop profile is low. very drinkable and smooth palate. Always fun to find a new zwickel.Gold, clear color. initially a large head that quickly fades.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a tiny, white film of a head. Lovely German noble hop aroma atop some clean pale malts. Rich, malty body, crisp and delicious with just enough balancing aroma hops to keep things in check. Delicious. 291021

500 ml bottle, as Zoller-Hof Fürsten-Pils, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 4.9%. Crystal clear pale yellow colour, large white head. Fairly nice sweetish aroma with notes of grassy and floral hops. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour is medium sweet (maybe a tad too sweet for a pilsener) with an acceptable hoppy bitterness. Not bad.

500 ml bottle, as Zoller-Hof Fidelis Hefe alkoholfrei, from the n/a beer section at Vinmonopolet Sola. ABV is 0.5%. Hazy straw colour, large white head. Aroma of wort, grain and baby porridge. Citric and fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has some citrus, and otherwise the same elements as the aroma. No sign of banana, nor cloves. Won't buy again.

Not the best doppelbock I ever had but passable. Slightly light in color with some overripe fruit sweetness, hints of butterscotch yet strong enough and plenty malty. It'll do.
