[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A shiny, almost black pour with a loose beige covering; chocolate malt aroma; dry in the mouth with a smooth milky and oaty texture and an earthy licorice taste; then a dry finish with a light bitterness and some blackcurrant. A really tasty mild.

Keg at Siren RG1, Reading. Pours deepest brown with beige to tan foam. Aroma: lightly toasty malts, slight burnt malts, citrus, some coffee, earthy, light grassy. Light to moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. Fair BIPA, would prefer it hoppier though!
