Bottle thanks to FlandersNed. Pours pinkish red. Nose and taste of apple honey, cherries, oak, rye, vanilla, honey and touch of whiskey - very light. The cherries and apple honey are in the forefront. Medium body.

Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours clear violet with small purplish head. Medium carbonation, soft texture, little lacing, and honey aroma. Taste is slightly sweet blackberry, clove, some orange zest, with dry honey finish. One of the more enjoyable and easy to drink meads.

Clear, bright, light yellow....no head. Smoky, raw vanilla and alcohol aroma. Sticky sweet vanilla bean syrup, and yes....as other have said, it does have a Salami note to it..spiced meat, smoke. Cinnamon tingle.... Wow...exceptionally smooth for 14%.... Awesome. (in small doses) The only way to ingest more vanilla is by drinking a Yankee Candle.
