Description

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, a bit unclear, small whie - slowly collapsing - head, pale malty nose sith some hops underneath; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, pretty slim, but at least soft; slightly lingering grainy-bitter finish with a barely detectable hoppy aftertaste. O. K., but very weak by franconian standards…

swing top bottle 500ml. -from Pivkan and also limited offer on www.beershop.hr. Yellow/golden coloured, small white head, some corn in the nose. Malty, grainy and slight hoppy with moderate dry finish. Somehow messy beer without any winter character.

Another one of Ogi’s, shared with him of course, thanks! Not exactly your average winter beer... because it’s too average. A shiny yellow-golden body, fizzy white head, small even. Herbal yeasty nose, some dry woody maltiness. The taste is strange. Tobacco, grainy, dry maltiness, slightly yoghurty. Dry hop aftertaste, maybe some weak egg. Ok lager really, but a winterbeer?

Ruby chestnut, big brown lace, lovely. Fruity, fat, roasted malt aroma. Nutty, almondlike malt entry, cocoa roast, fresh citric counterpoint keeps it light. Chewy medium body, mellow sparkly mouthfeel. Citrus grassy finish leads to a roasted caramelle restsweetness. Lovely pleasing brew.

Bottle. Slightly pale golden/yellow, white lace. Low level grainy/hayish malt, a bit dusty, mildly hopped. Sparkly, slightly tinny mouthfeel. No great joy.
