Relatively low gravity, with lots of currany, grapefruity hop flavour, though not overly bitter - an introductory IPA, if you will. Usually served on cask, which helps its cause.

If anyone can explain why a brewery that specializes in cask ales serves their ESB off nitrogen, I could really use some help with that one.
