Orangey-amber colour; toasty, crackerlike flavour, lightish malt accent; touch of English hops emerge as it dries towards the finish.

Relatively low gravity, with lots of currany, grapefruity hop flavour, though not overly bitter - an introductory IPA, if you will. Usually served on cask, which helps its cause.

If anyone can explain why a brewery that specializes in cask ales serves their ESB off nitrogen, I could really use some help with that one.

Toasty, brown malt flavours, light hop notes and a chocolate milk sweetness. Too bad about the nitrogen, though.
