Description

Tasting glass at Pint Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2011. Cloudy yellow color. Average smell of malts and some spices. Taste is better, malts, slight fruity and some alcohol. Nice carbo and body.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a hazy, amber beer with with microfloaties and a small, dense, off-white head. Slighlty alcoholic nose with dried fruits and some caramel hints. Quite unpleasant, but with some nice hoppyness. Quite dry on the palate, medium bodied and a tad warming. Caramel, malts, dried fruits and some bitterness. A rather strange bock I think. 110819

Hazy yellow color, off-white head. Smell is ok, taste not really what I like, some spices or herbs maybe? Carbo is pretty good again.

Well it’s a nice label on the bottle and the aroma is pretty decent, but this beer is far from kaboem! On the contrary, it’s watery and unbalanced.

Nice medium brown, little red color. Smell is not good. I don’t exactly know what I smelled but I absolutely didn’t like it. Taste is just fair. Low carbonation, not very good this one.

Lacking in smell and taste a bit. Also lacking a bit in body. This being an 8,2% abv beer, i expected a bit more.
