500 ml can from Vinbudin in Akureyri, Iceland. Drank on the Norwegian Prima. Pours a dark golden-bronze color with a white head and good retention. Standard lager aroma. Tastes like a typical Euro lager, but with no sulfur notes. No caramel flavor either. Why does the can say it's medium brown? Smooth and easy drinking. Medium body and carbonation. Not bitter. A little generic, but better than average for a Euro lager.

Backlog March 2011. Clear, deep amber, almost black body under a creamy beige head. Nice aroma, roasted malt, coffee, mocha, licorice and hint of smoke. Taste is moderate sweet, dark roasted malt, coffee, licorice and good bitterness. Fine body with long lasting, dry and bitter finish.
