Can. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

Pours mahogany tinged deep brown into an English pint. Mocha head with medium retention recedes leaving trailing spiders. Dark pit fruit, milk chocolate and licorice aromas. Medium bodied with sweet licorice, hot chocolate and mocha upfront turning to dusty, burnt espresso in the lasting finish.

The 2.25% abv version allows it to be sold in grocery stores. From 1915 to 1989, beer was illegal in Iceland, although hard liquor and sniffing glue were fine. Weird. This beer is water.
