On tap at the three horseshoes, Waddington. Deep golden colour, with a thick white head. Aroma is hoppy fruit taste light sweet. Medium body.

On cask at 41st Steel City Beer Festival - Reddish brown body, solid holding white head. Nose is caramel and buttery, a bit of a Werthers original sort of aroma. Taste has a mild hoppiness to it, but is sweetened off with the vanilla biscuit thing going on. Nice really.

Cask at the Wellington; dark coca cola brown pour with a bubbly light tan head, aroma has dark fruits and a hint of wood, taste has a hint of sweet chocolate, light roast, dark fruits.

Gravity cask at Nottingham festival with fonefan, Charlotte, Boudicca & chriso. Dark brown. Aroma of licorice, chocolate. Taste is herbal cocoa.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol July 2015. Deep amber with a slight, off-white, head. Sweetish, Malty beer with a hint of red fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Leeds Beer Festival 2015. Golden coloured ale. Hops and floral malts are evident with summer berry fruits in both aroma and taste. It’s quite pronounced in its nose.

Aroma of roasted malts, soft coffee notes, some dark sweet malts, dark chocolate sponge
Taste of dark malts, quite sweet, mellow roast, soft dark plain chocolate, slight burnt note
Palate - Almost flat, medium to thin body, bit thin due to lack of carbonation, smooth palate, soft sweet. Finish - quite dry at first then soft sweet dark malts in linger.
Overall - Good flavours, but let down as the beer was almost flat in the bottle.
