Description
We are independently owned and brew by hand in small batches at our microbrewery in central Stockport. For us, flavour and quality always come first.
As brewers, we respect brewing tradition though our beer is contemporary in style.
As drinkers, we want to enjoy every beer that we make – so for us, brewing isn’t just about the end product, it’s about the process. So it’s worth doing right.

I would say it was more of an IPA than a classic pale ale but a bit weak for a true IPA.

The only cask beer available when I arrived. Not bad but a bit too strong for a session beer.

Old rating - A 330ml bottle with pours a near black colour with a beige head. Aromas & tastes of ginger, biscuit, cloves, cinnamon, oats, hints of spice & malt. Medium to full bodied. Smooth malty finish. Very enjoyable

Deadication beer to footballer Trevor Cherry, died on this day in history. Hazed golden with a small head. As sweet tropical fruit as it gets for a bonafide sour. No cherry in this one though, but its lime and mango are stronger than ginger here, but there is a small spicy kick to proceedings from the latter.

Deadication beer to Pope Caius (whilst it's topical), died on this day. Black with a white creamy head. Workable mild. Not particularly special in any respect other than decent enough.

Harlequins Rugby Club used to train on a field next to a flat I rented in Putney Vale for the year I was there. This harlequin has less robustness about it than the blokes I saw then. A session brew with an excellent hoppiness about it
