Description
We are independently owned and brew by hand in small batches at our microbrewery in central Stockport. For us, flavour and quality always come first.
As brewers, we respect brewing tradition though our beer is contemporary in style.
As drinkers, we want to enjoy every beer that we make – so for us, brewing isn’t just about the end product, it’s about the process. So it’s worth doing right.

Harlequins Rugby Club used to train on a field next to a flat I rented in Putney Vale for the year I was there. This harlequin has less robustness about it than the blokes I saw then. A session brew with an excellent hoppiness about it

Oldham Beer Festival 2025, beer number 16 of the afternoon, and last - this fest only does half as a minimum pour so the tank is full. Pretty solid Belgian style to finish with, light bubblegum notes in both aroma and taste. Full bodied.

I had the Silverstone based Scalextric track as a kid. I was less interested in sour ales at that time. This one is mild in its rhubarb but very clean and easy in texture, fair sourness.

I guess Manchester's best will always be Boddingtons, but since its demise and demolished brewery new brewers have been taking up the mantle. This Runaway local brewer best is very easy but perhaps a tad watery, although this translates as a smoothness. It is bitter to a hoppy extent. I actually didn't realise it was a Boddingtons recipe until well after it had been consumed.

Half draft at Beermoth. Dark, cloudy amber pour, small, soft creamy head. Malty aroma and taste, a bit of dryness. Nutty, toasty, woody with some sweetness.

15/2/2025. Bottle at the ITFC vintage and rare Saturday share part 2. From Beermoth, Manchester. Bottled March 2019. Pours close to black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma is woody, chocolate, whisky, liquorice, roasted malts, dried fruits. Medium sweetness, mellow roasted bitterness. Quite full bodied, smooth, light carbonation. Warming boozy finish. Well matured and very good.
