16 oz can. No date code. Aroma is soft grapefruit and mild grassy hints. No surprises here. A light malt bill with plenty of citrus peel and a moderate danky grass finish. Personally, the lingering grass starts to wear on me as I drink. But otherwise decent.

Fresh can. Pours a clear gold with a thin lasting head. Soft honey and light grain on the nose. Medium bodied, grain with a light crackery wheat note. Mild yeast and a touch of grain into the finish. Easy drinking with a more robust body. Real good for the style.

Taster pour on tap at Powder Keg Beer & Chili festival. Appearance is cloudy dark yellow with thin cap of off-white head, no discernible sparkle. Aroma is primarily grapefruit and strong. Taste is strong grapefruit dominant with milder citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick, heavy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Full thick not complex or novel. almost refreshing to have mosaic beer after all others. Overall, a full, thick beer that is pretty straightforward grapefruit/Mosaic but without bitterness. It's not novel but, with so many complex beers, it was kind of refreshing to have one harken back to simpler times (3-4 years ago) and do one thing well.

Sample at the source Chris' favorite. Lightly hazy straw in color with a thin off white head. Rich bready maltiness with a hint of sweetness. Citrus and tropical fruits in the nose and flavor. Might be one of the best lactose IPA's I've had, but still a lactose ipa.

Sample at the source and it impressed me enough to get a crowler to go. Hazy dark straw in color without much of a head. Lime and salt against a lightly sweet bready maltiness. Very well done!

Sample from the source. Dark brown in color with a decent sized off white head that persists. Rich toasty light chocolate maltiness with a decent amount of smoke that never seems too burnt. Pretty tasty
