Batson River Brewing & Distilling brings a unique dining experience to Biddeford, Kennebunk, Wells & Portland Maine. Established in 2018, with craft and quality at the forefront of our brand, from our small-batched spirits to our craft beers brewed on site in southern Maine. Our menus feature a range of cocktails along with a full list of Batson River craft beers. Draft at brewery on lovely Maine summer night. Dirty gold and rather clear. Nose is melon hops. Tatses of citrus yeast, honey dew, bubblegum. Lighter bodied and lively.

On tap in Portland, pours a translucent amber brown with a ring of white head. Nutty nose, some malt, some dough, a little carob. Flavor is malty, nutty, bread crust, toffee, carob. Middle of the road. Pretty much dry.

Pint in Portland is a clear, pale yellow with a cap of white head. Lemony nose, corn, some dough. Flavor is exactly the same. Lightly watery finish. Fine.

16oz can from H&B Provisions pours a dark orange, nearing amber with a big cap of rocky white head. Nose is fine, orange and soap, grist, some lemony tea. Flavors of tea leaves and biscuit, orange rind, potpourri. Finishes fairly bitter.

4 oz. White grape, slight floral, mild malt backbone. I get a hint of botanical in the finish. Almost a gin like finish. Interesting IPA.
