Tap at brewery. Number one with a bullet. Orange gold pour. Creamy white head. Toasted malt nose has bittersweet notes of citrus and pine. Rich and flavorful. The hoppiest of the Tall Oaks brews I’ve tasted so far. Mildly complex. Dry bitter finish.

On tap at brewery. Bright yellow gold color. Creamy white ring. Earthy malt aroma has grassy hop notes. Flavor is crisp and malty. Lots of European character. Grainy malt, herbal hops, wonderful balance and flavor. Some spicy bitterness on backend. Tasty.

This rating is from my 160th New Jersey brewery. On tap at Tall Oaks. Number one with a bullet. Mahogany brown color. Creamy tan ring. Toasted malt aroma hints at caramel and red berries. Flavor is caramel, black currants and baker’s chocolate. Light bodied for sure. Dry finish.
