(swing top bottle, two days before the BB-date) Clear amber colour with a moderate and stable, slightly off-white foam. Sweet, lemon-fruity aroma combined with butter-caramel. Sweet flavour, light bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Malty, slightly toasty and subtle fruity taste with toffee on a dense herbal background. Slim, medium-dry, lemon-fruity and slightly bitter finish. Strange, had it so many times in the last decade – often directly from the bottle – and always found it mediocre but my current sample is really “entertaining”.

Alles, was ein Pils braucht. Test vom 8.7.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,10,11,10,8,10 - 10,05

(bottle) Hazy golden to orange colour with a fluffy white and stable foam. Dusty and slightly tart wheat aroma with dense fruity esters of overripe oranges and banana. Light sweet wheaty flavour and taste, fruity and medium bodied, moderately carbonated. Dry wheaty and fruity finish with only a hints of cloves. Decent and drinkable Weizen.

(Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden, bordering amber, with a nice head. Fresh and malty with a light caramel character without really being sweet. Decent, bitter finish. I don’t really detect any fruity notes from the ale yeast. 291204

(Bottle 33 cl) Quite pale pilsner with an exquisite head that sticks to the glass. Fresh with sharp hops which hits the tongue but doesn’t reach the palate. Classic German quality pils. 280904.

Bottle: amber coloured, thin lacing foam; slightly fruity (honey) and malty nose; light sweet flavour; ending a bit drier, but nearly no bitterness in the malty aftertaste; soft, but not very aromatic. Drinkable but boring......

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a medium foamy white head. Grassy hoppy nose with citrus fruity background. Soft sweet flavour, lively carbonation. A clean and crisp Pilsener with an initial maltiness and a balanced hopbitter finish. Absolutely okay.

Bottle: Pale golden colour, medium-sized white foam, lacing; malty, fruity(citrus) nose, light floral hoppiness; light sweetish fruity and malty taste, that lasts to the soft, slightly bitter finish; quite well rounded, refreshing.

(bottle) Golden colour with a big but fast diminishing foamy white head. Nice aroma of floral hops and citrus fruits. Flavour and taste are rather bland. Sweet and malty taste with a faint hoppiness in the finish. Light bodied, soft carbonation. All in all OK.
