Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is mildly sweetish grainy malt with straw and soft grassy noble hop. Light sweet and bitter flavour, medium body. A bit sweeter than I like my Helles but it's decent.

Bottle. Clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma and taste of grains, some malts and straw. Low to moderate grainy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Light-bodied and very süffig. It simply is what it is and gets it’s job done in due form. I‘ll add one little bonus point for the label design.

Bottle. Clear yellow/gold with a solid white head. Aroma and taste of grains, malts, straw and earthy hops. Distinct grainy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Pretty much what I expected. I was glad though to have a couple of these at the secret lake while watching geese and fighting off wasps.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Weak, grainy, strawy, pale malty aroma, almost undetectable, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is rather crisp, bitter hoppy, slightly grainy, minimally bready, pale malty, a touch of caraway spiced grey bread; lingering, almost a bit pungent, bitter hoppy finish. Minimally oily, watery texture, dry palate, medium to fine, prickly carbonation. Surprisingly crisp and bitter, appealing appearance - OK.

Heller, etwas dumpfer Beginn. Milde Herbe, süßlich getreidiger Hintergrund, geringe Würzigkeit. Süffig, langweilig, kurzer Abgang. 9/6/7/7/9/7
