Frisch herber Antrunk, etwas hopfig, daneben leicht süß. Erfrischendes harmonisches Bier in angemessener Intensität! Danke an quack-duck! Test vom 12.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,12,12,11,9,12 - 11,60

Thanks to quack-duck for the beer! The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Fine malty aroma. Tastes strong and malty, a little bit like plum, well balanced finish. Very drinkable and good bock!

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Stefan !): Hazy, smaller foamy layer with a good lace; pale-malty and distinctive aromatic hoppy nose; sweetish (pale-malty)-bitter flavour; light fruity traces (apricots) in the pale-malty finish, followed by a light bitter aftertaste. A well crafted brew.....

The bottle looks not so good, the beer in the glass is okay. Starts mild and spicy, the finish is dry and malty. Only an average beer!

(33cl swing top bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Unclear, light-golden colour with a fluffy white head. Light-sweet grainy and slightly acidic fruity nose with slightly grassy hops and hints of glue. Light-sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a moderate to crispy carbonation. Slightly yeasty, pale malty taste with subtle notes of citrus; moderately dry, slightly slim, malty and light-fruity finish with a whiff of grassy hops. Quite slim but pretty refreshing brew (05.05.08).

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly strawy and grainy malty nose with herbal and slightly spicy hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate, slightly crispy carbonation. Mild malty base with an not overly present hops-character; dry-ish, slightly bitter and hoppy finish (19.04.08).

(33cl swing top bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden coloured and effervescent hue with a massive blonde foamy head with lace. Moderately sweet, strawy nose with herbal and slightly grassy hops, accompanied by a subtle citrus-fruity touch. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Quite hoppy taste on a soft malty base with a balancing sweetness; moderately dry and bitter, slightly grainy finish, unfortunately with a tinge of metal. All in all pleasant (19.04.08).
