Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is wood, some bready malts as well as slightly herbal notes. Flavour is quite much the same with a rather grassy aftertaste. A bit more grassy than many other Märzen(Oktofests I’ve had.

Thanks to MoritzF for this one. The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts quite sourish, a bit moldy-fermented. Hoppy-dry in the background. Becomes more and more well balanced. The finish is still sourish, also woody-spicy. Not bad!

Courtesy of bierkoning, thanks Edo!
Slightly hazy yellow color, good cloudy white head. Aroma has some wheat, but also light tartness and dusty yeastyness. Quite light palate for 5.1% weizen. Flavor has apple, apricot and some banana. Odd tropical fruits in German Hefeweizen ... Short fizzy finish. Not my kind of hefeweizen.

(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet mildly toasted (cara-)malty aroma with notes of peanuts and shy herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium body impression (completely fermented/hochvergoren) with a moderate carbonation. Minimal toasty cara-malty and slightly nutty taste with a mildly bitter and slightly herbal and spicy hoppy finish. Could have had more body, otherwise a decent brew. 21.XI.09
