It’s schwarz all right, a pitch black body with a decent head. Soft aroma of barley and little else. Taste is like licking badger hair, or maybe dog hair, like your German shepherd just rain in from the rain. Then, you go down to your wood-lined basement and fish out your rabbit-fur slippers in the cold, damp, autumn dusk. It’s that kind of beer. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Nice clear foggy white body, modest amount of head on top. Aroma of rotten grains. Taste is a hint of hops and grains, dry finish. A decent pils, but totally uninteresting.

Big thanks to Quack-Duck for the bottle. Looks really good, the beer in the glass as well, small head. Starts malty-grasy, a bit moldy-yeasty. Turns then more and more spicy, modest sourish background. Finsih yeasty-dry, but not too much. Quite drinkable. Good beer!

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has skunky notes of malt and lemon. The flavor is skunky with notes of malt and lemon - the sweetness seems artificial. The body is very thin.

(swing top bottle) Murky brown colour with a big and light-beige foamy head. Slightly dusty and sweet roast-malty aroma with an ethereally spicy hoppy touch. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty malty taste with notes of caramel; medium-dry moderately roasty malty and slightly hoppy finish. 14.XI.07
