Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 16 ounce can into lager glass, unreadable can dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, cracker, white bread dough/crust, toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malts and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, white bread dough/crust, toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, white bread dough/crust, toasted biscuit, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malts and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Light lingering resins. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.3%. Overall this is a delicious Czech pils. All around great robustness and balance of pale malts and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish; not aggressive. very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced between clean pils malts and earthy noble hops. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Can: Pours hazy, amber-gold with a chunky, off-white head. Grain malt aroma. Taste is a bit of corn, biscuit, caramel malt. Light leafy/grassy hop bitter.....some metallic notes. Not too bad, just not as crisp and clean as preferred.

16 oz can from Pilgrim's. Can't get the search filter to work for that place, even though it's been in the database for years. Can is over five months old. Crap. Aroma is pineapple, orange juice, guava, citrus peel. Pours hazy golden-orange with a two finger bone white head with great retention. Taste is mild to moderately bitter, juicy, finishing dry. A lot more juicy than other Brut IPAs I've had, and as a result, much better. This is still holding up extremely well for how old it is. Amazing how certain breweries can make their hoppy brews last longer than others.
