16 oz can from Pilgrim's. Can't get the search filter to work for that place, even though it's been in the database for years. Can is over five months old. Crap. Aroma is pineapple, orange juice, guava, citrus peel. Pours hazy golden-orange with a two finger bone white head with great retention. Taste is mild to moderately bitter, juicy, finishing dry. A lot more juicy than other Brut IPAs I've had, and as a result, much better. This is still holding up extremely well for how old it is. Amazing how certain breweries can make their hoppy brews last longer than others.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with a red hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has sour fruits and a bit of earthy fig with a good amount of oak backing. Flavor is full of sour fruits with an acid bite and figs and oak underlying.

Sampled from the firkin at Happy Gnome. Pours a hazy amber orange with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bit of a Manhattan note with rye and booze backed by sweet grains and a light fruitiness. Flavor has a light fruitiness, rye, booze and a bread backbone.

Corn, barley malt, and straw aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow with giant off-white head. Moderately sweet corn syrup, light barley malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Light body. Tastes like a City Brewing cheap lager.

Sample at Lizardville Westerville. Brown-black pour with a medium beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, coffee and vanilla in the nose. Medium body with a roasty coffee and malt character, with notes of vanilla and chocolate in the background. The finish is sweet and roasty with a vanilla coffee aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Draft at taproom. Pour: normal. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, coffee, roasty. Taste brings the lacto sweetness and feel, hints of coffee, hint of whiskey barrel. This becomes evident as it goes down, warming. Right on the edge of being boozy.

Draft at taproom, '15 vintage. Murky copper pour, tight beige head, solid lacing. Aroma is straightforward malts, bready and mildly sweet. Taste brings the booze and warmth, brown bread, hint of citrus zest. Arrives warm and lingers. Right on target
