Tap @ Monks Porterhouse. I usually like dopplebocks. This one though was too sweet and one dimensional. It tastes raisins, nothing more really.

100ml taster, draught as Monks Cafe Bavarian Pils at Monks Porter House. Clear, yellow-straw body. Tiny lacing-head. Smell of nobel hops and pale malts. Drying hops in flavour married with gentle malts. Oily and dry palate. Clean on the swallow. Good (Gamla Stan, Stockholm 13.09.2010).

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is grass, grains, some sweet malts, mild mashlike notes as well as some herbal and cardboardy notes. Flavour is being quite much the same with a quite hayish finish.

Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour, huge foamy white head that leaves lace. Aroma is aroma is wheat, citrus, some mild spicyness and also quite strongly cardboard. Flavour is papery, mildly cereals with some slight hints of wheat and mild notes of citrus.
