Keg at the brewpub, RBWG ’15, 20/02/15. Dark amber with a moderate off White covering. Nose is biscuit, airy malt, bready notes, raisens. Taste comprises biscuit, light spice, straw, trace of caramel, dark fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Keg at the brewery druing RBWG Booze Buseday 20/02/15. Chestnut brown with a moderately appointed beige cap. Nose is clove, toffee, hint of vinegar, mixed spice. Taste comprises biscuit, toffee, light clove, soured dark fruit notes, brown bread, hint lactic. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not great.

Keg at the brewery, RBWG ’15, 20/02/15. Golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is biscuit, toffee, light spice, airy malt. Taste comprises light fruit, caramel malt, biscuit crumble, trace of hoppage. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Whelming amber ... limited hop flavour, drinkable but dull.

Keg at the brewery, RBWG’15, 20/02/15. Hazed orange amber with beige spotting. Nose is light smoke, lemon rind, smoked malt, straw. Taste comprises pissy citrics, BBQ rub, chipotle notes, biscuit, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dryinf close with a pissy trace. Solid enough for style.

Keg at the brewery, RBWG’15, 20/02/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan covering. Nose is charred tones, dark toffee, spice, malty. Taste comprises nutty vibes, spice, biscuit malt, cocoa powder, light dark fruit wash. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout.

Keg at the brewery druing RBWG Booze Buseday 20/02/15. Hazed yellow with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pissy citric shreds, on the turn melon, lemon rind, spice, damp straw. Taste comprises citric peel, light herb, damp hay, pissy, grain, light yeast, bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of acidity. Middle of the road sour, not offensive but doesn’t deliver a lot.

Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, light charring, brown bread, faint honey, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but delivers little on the ABV.

Keg at the brewery druing RBWG Booze Buseday 20/02/15. Light black with a decent beige covering. Nose is roast malt, charr, chocolate, spice, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises light spice, liquorice, dark malt, cocoa powder, raisens, charr. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with roasted tones. Decent porter.

Bottle split at the brewpub during RBWG ’15 pourin buse day, 20/02/15. Murky chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is sticky toffee pudding, spice, dates, subtle barrel, fruit loaf. Taste comprises rich malt, dark fruit rinds, figs, Xmas cake, dates. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light warming alcohol in the close. Ok BA BW but doesn’t really deliver the depth the ABV demands.

Bottle split at the brewpub during RBWG ’15 pourin buse day, 20/02/15. Rich chestnut brown with moderate beige edgeing. Nose is rich fruit rinds, yeast esters, biscuit, toffee, booze tunes. Taste comprises fruit cake, date, spice, light bourbon, toffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light warming booze. Ok BA quad.
