Dark brown color, hardly any head. Toasty applearoma. Roasted malt in the flavor. Licorice. Just a hint of sweetness. Rather thin. Surprisingly good beer.

I though I’d had almost all available beers in Nordhorn, but I found a well stocked Trink Gut Grtränkehalle bihind the defunct railway station in Nordhorn. I could only take a few away on my bicycle, , but there’s more to follow, no doubt. Caramel aroma. Bitter caramelly flavor with some vegetable and coffee notes. Rather thin with a bittersweet aftertaste.

Just a hint of hops and orange in the aroma. Hoppy, grassy flavor with a hint of glue. Hopbitter aftertaste. Decent, but somewhat mediocre pilsener.

Soapy aroma and flavor. Touches of apple. Thin to medium bodied. I can’t think of anything positive about this beer. Bottle from MoritzF, with my thanks.

Deep dark color. Apple, raisin and a hint of licorice in the light aroma. Sweet and thinnish with licorice and grapes. The taste is OK, but somehow this beer lacks quality. Bottle from MoritzF.

Lemon and soap in the aroma and flavors, as common in those drinks. Like 7Up with something beery in the background. No distracting by-flavors, but otherwise totally uninteresting.

Glue and a touch of hops in the aroma. Bitter, a bit nutty flavor. medium bodied. Just a touch of soap. Not really pleasant. Bottle from MoritzF.

Not much of an aroma. Sweetish flavor with cookie dough and some hopbitterness. Fruity and a bit soapy, especially in the aftertaste. Thin to medium bodied.

Bottle from MoritzF. Hopbitterness in the aroma and flavor is destroyed by soap. Something metallic detected. This pislener looks good (nice frothy head), but tastes and smells bad.

Bottle. Orange color, large chunks of yeast. Looks rather ugly. Orange sweeties and a hint of yeast in the flavor. Some yeasty notes in the aftertaste.
