The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Darker than exspected. Tastes strong, "bocky", modest malty, not very sweet. Well balanced finish. Really good!

Süß-saurer Beginn, der erfrischend ist und gefällt. Limonadennoten lassen sich nicht vermeiden, die Fruchtigkeit wirkt aber weitestgehend natürlich. Mit der Zeit limonadiger werdend, die Säure gefällt weiterhin. Gute Erfrischung! 7/8/8/8/7/8

Süßer, aber nicht übertriebener Antrunk, erfrischend, positiverweise nicht künstlich. Im Mittelteil bereits etwas schwächer, etwas nach Brause, angenehm fruchtig, limonig, leicht zitronig. Der Sommer kann kommen! 10/8/9/9/8/9

(bottle) An Alt, formerly brewed in Münster. Clear, dark amber colour with a mid-sized, light-beige foamy head. Slightly sweet and a bit dusty toast-malty nose with traces of caramel and very faint fruity notes when it warms, accompanied by shy herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty, slightly caramelly taste with minimal fruity accents; moderately dry and light-bitter finish with unpleasant metallic hops. Mediocre at best (18.03.08).

Bottle: clear, chestnut-amber coloured, quickly vanishing off-white head; faint traces of caramelly dark malt in the toasted and slightly sourish nose; mild sweet-bitter flavour, very light bodied; short bitter-sweetish finish with a metallic touch. A cheap brew, but drinkable.......

Röstig-cremiger Malzbeginn. Dadurch angenehm würzig, gering herb. Die Intensität sinkt im Mittelteil, das Bier legt an Bitterkeit aber zu. Zum Ende erneut wässriger. Schon irgendwie in Ordnung. 9/8/8/7/8/8

Frischer, wässrig herber Beginn. Im Verlauf eher laffer als intensiver werdend, etwas muffig, leichte Getreidigkeit. Der Hopfen wirkt fast lächerlich, kommt er doch nur in Spuren vor. 7/6/7/6/7/7

Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet and dominated by caramel. Simple, but fine.

A brown beer with a small light brown disappearing head. The aroma is sweet malty and slightly roasted. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted bread, but unfortunately the body is thin.

(bottle) Cloudy, deep orange colour with a big, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly sweet, slightly wheaty nose with notes of bubblegum and very strong, rather disturbing spicy phenols. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Unbalanced yeasty, malty and restrained fruity taste with little wheat-character and rather unpleasant, way too strong phenols. Moreover the finish is quite watery. Reminds me of Denninghoffs Weisse, which is originally brewed in Giessen.

Wässrig-röstmalziger Antrunk. Auch der Mittelteil ist wässrig, sehr lasch, langweilig. Leicht würziger, kratzig-röstmalziger Nachgeschmack. Nicht wirklich gut, aber auch nicht wirklich schlecht - trinkbar. Test vom 2.7.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,7,7,6,7 - 7,40
