Bottled, from Krefeld. Cloudy golden, rich head. Aroma of dusty old cellared apples and banana. Sweetish with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Notes of boiled vegetables, low bitterness. Unusually poor for a German weizen.

Catch up rating from notes, 2012: Bottle from Edeka Markt. Bright, clear golden pour, one finger foamy head, lively carbonation. Crisp grassy aroma, hint of hops, spot on. Taste was clean, full bodied grains with a nice sharp hoppy bite at the finish. Solid all the way through, didn't disappoint.

Frisch herber Beginn mit mildem, wenig getreidigem Hintergrund. Die Würzigkeit steigt im Mittelteil leicht, die Herbe breitet sich aus. Das Bier hat dabei eine klare Richtung, die Herbe ist mit Abstant das dominanteste Aroma, ab dem hinteren Mittelteil wenig hopfig. Im Nachgeschmack seichte Bitternoten mit stärker werdender Getreidigkeit. Ein gutes Standardpils. 11/11/11/11/9/11
