330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale golden colour, white foam head and malty grassy aroma. Taste is sweet, malt, grainy, hay, cardboard with grassy metallic bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry metallic bitter finish. Just about OK cold

Bottle from Tesco. Gold and fizzy-looking with a thin white head. However, on tasting it's got a fuller mouthfeel and softer, more pleasant fizz than the appearance would suggest. Up front there's actually some noticeable maltiness, along with a hint of grassy, lemony hop. Unfortunately after a while there's a hint of the cardboard and sweetcorn that I more normally associate with a mass-produced "world" lager. Whilst it's maybe not as crisp and clean as some beers of this genre, it does have a slightly better flavour than many and is actually quite drinkable. Having said that, it's still not a beer I would willingly choose to return to.
