On tap at Brothers Beer. Pours pretty much looking like a mango: completely opaque and orange yellow. Flavour is a little salty at first, with lots of mango and then a prickly effervescent chilli finish. Not too sweet, not too sour, just right...

On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Aroma is all gin and tonic, to the point that it’s confusing. Flavour starts all gin, little tart lime and a long bitter finish. I like gin, I like DIPA, this marriage of them is... I don’t know. Weird? It’s definitely weird, but is it nice? I really just don’t know. It’s interesting, and it hits all the notes it says it should, so I guess a good rating is deserved, but I don’t think I’ll ever order another.

Can. Just hazy amber with an off white head. Light bread and biscuity malt with grapefruit, herbal lemon and a little menthol. 7+ Light bodied. Tastes much as it smell but with a bit of an odd earthiness that distracts. Moderate bitterness. OK.

Re-rate - I found the hops a lot more balanced this time around. Maybe I got a bad batch... This one’s an American brown ale that could do with a little more balance. There’s a light nutty aroma with some marshmallow, peach and sharp lemon coming through. The biggest problem with this beer is that the hops are too bitter, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The malt is nice, but it’s overwhelmed by the hops and a little too much alcohol.

On tap at the Garden Shed. Aroma is yeast, bread, passionfruit. Flavour is just pure tart passionfruit juice with a great wheat beer background. Sour, fizzy, fruity. Fantastic.

On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Aroma is chocolate, a small amount of seaside notes and nuts. Flavour is plum, lots of chocolate and coffee, a touch of salted caramel and a nice long bitter finish. Reminiscent of an imperial oyster stout type thing, with a complex, slightly salty profile. Nice.
