Origin: The English increased the amount of hops in their Pale Ales to preserve their beers for the long journey to the East Indies. They didn’t realize they were creating the most popular and exciting of all ales… for this, we salute you guys!

This Deep Creek smooth ale has a dominant citrus flavour that we hope refreshes our patrons and brings them back again. Don’t let us hold you up reading this, grab one, take in the aroma and then savour. We hope you become a fan too!

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy light light amber colour with plenty of bubbles. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter sweet, with a smooth, fruity, light resin, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

440ml can into shaker. Golden beer with light carbonation and frothy crown on top. Slight haze. Nose of lemon, malt, pine, earth and grass. Smooth and easy-drinking. Finish is like a fruity toffee. Excellent IPA, delicious and dangerously moreish at 6.9%!

Can. Just hazy amber with an off white head. Light bread and biscuity malt with grapefruit, herbal lemon and a little menthol. 7+ Light bodied. Tastes much as it smell but with a bit of an odd earthiness that distracts. Moderate bitterness. OK.

Cloudy amber. Fruity, a little muddled, not bright, nor particularly bitter.
