Description
Pawtucket is our homebase for The Guild Brewing Company. It all started in March 2017 with our first beer coming out of the kettles. Since then we have grown with a larger beer hall, outdoor beer garden and our special events hall, The Barn. If it is coming in for a pint, meeting friends in the beer garden or going to an event, The Guild is a place to connect and celebrate coming together over a great pint. Cheers.

On tap @The Guild while waiting for the local cidery to open. Clear, oily, frothy bright medium light gold. Cold stuffed nose. Weak pine & a dash of citrus over slightly fennel-y dry malt. Sharp, peppery, crispy, rindy & lingering hops, slight sweetness. Good if not great quaf.

I wanted to do a mix 4pack but no go per usual at brewpubs. Lovely location I hope to come back and actually enjoy. This beer had few. Deep malt liquor colored gold which is true to style. Minimal head. Nose is corn. Tatses of corn, malt, Honey Nut Cheerios, diner booth pleather. Rich mouthfeel. Some booze.

Taster pour on tap at Rhode Island Brew Fest. It's an opaque black with decent cap of light brown head with good retention. Aroma is moderately strong roasted malt. Taste is strong roasted malt, earthy, slight toffee. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, thick, frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, more complexity to the taste than aroma but doesn't quite deliver on the description. Too carbonated for the style.

Taster pour on tap at Rhode Island Brew Fest. It's a cloudy yellow with thin ring of off-white head and light lacing. Aroma is moderately strong sweet citrus. Taste is citrus with dank vegetation. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonated and finish as taste. Overall, not complex and odd vegetal quality to the flavor. Too carbonated. Average at best.

16 OZ. Pilsner glass at Malted Barley (Providence Location). Aroma shows me white baked bread, weak pineapple, and spice. Flavor is the aroma in a weak character. Light body with a bready texture. Just an ok summer sipper.

Pint at the Kickoff party at Homebrewcon Just a touch of haze in a deep golden beer with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Light bready crackery malt with some sweet and tart berry to counter.

Pint at the Kickoff party at Homebrewcon Red amber in color with a thin off white head that slowly recedes. Rich bready toasty burn sugary maltiness with plenty of dark dried fruits and faint earthy hops to counter. Really nice dopplebock on an 85 degree night.

Tall Pilsner served at the Malted barley in Providence. Hazy lemon yellow in color with a huge bubbly white head that persists. Spicy yeast and crackery cereal graininess with just a hint of pineapple on top. Much better than I thought it would be, pretty tasty really.
