Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a clear gold with small white top. Aroma of grains, spice and grassiness. Taste starts quite sweet with a grainy malt, some breadiness then a decent hoppiness kicks in being grassy and spicy as expected. Medium bodied, light resinous quality, fine carbonation. Interesting, a brewery that does one beer (well this and a LA version). They must have a lot of repeat end customers that have fallen in love with this one. For me its a good beer but I'm not digging the love in. Peace out baby.

Fles in Duitsland gekocht, thuis geprobeerd. Het is een helder bleekgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een smaak van mout en hop net als het aroma.

0.33 l bottle shared with little Dina at Bier Laden, Berlin. I remember having a lot of these on Weltjugendtag 2005 in Köln and claiming it was my favourite beer ever for a long time. Never wrote any notes on it back then. Clear golden, small lasting creamy off-white head. Grainy bready malty, hay and herbal hoppy flavour. Clean. Moderately, hoppy, light body. Some bready sweetness, lightly herbal hoppy but lingering. Quite thin. Soft texture. Light dry finish, very drinkable. Quite simple.

500ml from HoTM. It pours clear golden - yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweetish, doughy white bread, biscuit, custard creams, brioche, croissant, cracker and a touch of nuttiness. The taste is crispy, crunchy, snappy, bitter - sweet, baked goods, brioche, grassy, leafy, doughy malt, bready, toasty grain, nut and a touch of spice with soft, mellow finish. Average body and carbonation. Decent.
