Appearance: Clear gold with a moderate off-white frothy head of low to medium retention. Aroma and taste: Lone grain, restrained fruity notes. Light sweet. Simplistic. No hop. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: Thank you.

Poured from 330mL can (courtesy of Consul General of Vietnam in Vancouver). Clear light blonde with no head. Mild sweet grain. At least this is canned so no light struck quality like Truc Bach (tried just before this). Very average.

Poured from 330mL bottle (courtesy of Consul General of Vietnam in Vancouver). Clear gold with small white head. Clearly light struck, totally skunked, Bleh.

330mL can, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out skunk cabbage, straw and light vegetal notes. Flavour is pretty neutral, with straw and light skunkiness. Pure swill, but not too skunky.

330mL bottle, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma is skunky as hell, with vegetal notes and skunk cabbage. Flavour is pretty skunky and vegetal, with cheap corn, vegetal notes and straw. Cheap and useless, but there are worse beers.

Bright gold, white head. Vague spicy nose. Prickly, with a light sweet start. Hops are almost not noticeable. But not as bad as previous ratings would indicate

Can from minimart, Tam Coc. Had one of these before somewhere but here is the rating. Aroms is a mess of fruity flavours but not the good kind. Taste is a horrid mix of fruity sweet flavours and metallic. Total cardboard flavour. Apologies to previous candidate, this beer is the worst.

Pale and slightly dull. Thin head. Aroma is a bit grainy but with a lot of herbaceous hop. More bitterness than one would expect, and again a decent noble hop note. Sweet malt backdrop. As a commercial swill goes, this is a good one.

Canned from Asian Spice in Split. Shared with Hrabren, and some with Ogi. Clear pale golden body pierced with carbonation, white head, not much retention. Hugely fruity aroma, green apple, corky, wha?! Smooth taste, cardboardy, mildly sweet. Not much else... eh no.

0.33 l can thanks to Marko, shared with Ogi and him. Clean pale golden, small head. Vague tart vegetable aroma, green apple coming up. Light body, thin, watery, paper flavour. Some corn, some sweetness. Bland. Quite awful.
