This Kolsch poured a nice amber colour with a decent, creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include corn, dough, caramel and a little leather. First swig was a little watery but nicely flavoured. Tastes of caramel, dough and a malty sweetness? Finish is also nicely malty with a little basement thrown in. Not much hopp flavour in the finish. Nice.

This brown ale poured a beautiful deep amber colour with a light tan, creamy head. Scents include sweet malt/caramel, toast and roasted grain. First swig was smooth and creamy with flavours of caramel and toast. Medium carbonation and decent lacing. Finish was malty with a light hop bitterness lingering. Delicious!

Deep amber, thick tan head, looks like a beer's beer. Nose is fairly straight malt with roasted nose. Taste is, well, disappointing. Mild caramel malt, balance with overall bitterness. Feels a little thin. Lingering bitterness. So... not so much.

Thanks to AleRider78 for bringing this back from the brewery - for my birthday. 32 oz bottle like in the picture I took. Pours a clean amber colour with caramel highlights. Frothy beige head, good carbonation and light foamy lace. Some of the hops that I am not fond of are present here (leafy, artificial) over the sweet caramel malts and hints of roasted malts. Thin mouthfeel with the hops which are a tad better in the taste and the balance of caramel and burnt malts. Even hints of maple syrup, but all mild, not syrupy. Not my type of brown ale, as the hops are not to my likings, but a decent first from this brewery.

This ale poured a amber colour too with a off white, spore-like head. Scents include beef broth, light sherry, barnyard and caramel. First swig was very malty with light ripe fruit and a little musty notes. Finish had a little sherry and ripe fruit lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This ale poured a clear amber colour with a spore like, foamy head. Scents include cereal, perm solution and musty beef gravy. In of course a good way. First swig was pretty easy drinking with flavour of musty granola and light fruit. Finish is malty with that musty, malty flavour that I love in a good ale. Good work! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This black ale poured a deep black colour with a brown, fizzy head. Scents include coffee, burnt toast and caramel. First taste wasn't overly carbonated but delicious none the less. Flavour of coffee, burnt caramel and toast. Finish was roasty with with coffee and a little metallic flavour lingering. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
