Golden-amber, thick head. Aroma is more or less like a light helles. The taste is thin, a bit sour and has diacetyl in the finish.

A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, cloying sweet strawberry jam with butterscotch notes, cloying and unpleasant. In mouth, a sweet light bodied caramel malt with butterscotch extract, watery, boring. On tap at Fiebre de Malta.

A reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, another strawberry bomb with faint malt, no hops, boring. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light mineral notes, diacetyl, grassy hops, so-so. On tap at Fiebre de Malta.

Aroma is a fine mix of hops and caramel, a good sweet balance. Has beautiful head and subtle carbonation. Flavour is very fine lemon and malt flavours with lemon and hazelnut. Great mouthfeel. It’s a wonderful lager.

Bottled at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Hazy golden, minimal head. Fruity nose with melon and grass. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Somewhat milky with some bread and citrus. Low-medium bitterness. Laid back, but non-distinctive.

Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Hazy chocolate brown, small head. Salty and lightly earthy. Medium-full bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salted chocolate and grass, some grass. The imperialization of their altbier seems to have resulted in diluted the flavours but blowing up the body like a baloon. Salty bitterish finish, OK, but too clean - and quite diappointing after their regular Altbier.

Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Clear nut brown, creamy head. Fruity caramelly nose. Sweetish with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Mildly roasty with notes of caramel and chocolate. Slight spicy hops before a mid bitter finish. Doesn’t turn me on.
