Brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, overripe dark fruits, caramel and herbal notes. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation. Strangely fishy in the finish which is quite unpleasant.

Fairly hazy golden with a thick white head. Aroma of grain, citrusy hops and light malt. Flavour is light sweet and bitter with a light lemon acidity. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Nguyen du Brauhof, pours a dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is very subdued, with toasted nuts and toasted bready. Flavour is very vegetal, with herbal notes, stale notes and boiled vegetables. This isn't good at all. Pretty bad indeed.

On tap at Nguyen du Brauhof, pours an opaque cloudy dark orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out crisp vegetables, some herbal notes, and toasted nuts. Flavour is clean enough, with herbal notes, bready malt and light toasted nuts. A little too vegetal, but it's not bad. Smooth palate - easy to drink - just rather lame.

Draft - Raisin and some earthy notes. Dirty brown with a rich beige head. Fruity and earthy esters with a stale quality. Not pleasant.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, some light hops. The flavour is light bitter with a grainy, earthy malt, light floral medicinal palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, some hops. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light watery malt, hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Dark lager at the brewpub. This dark lager pours a deep reddish brown which was lighter than I was expecting with a thin light beige head. The aroma is sweet malty caramel with some fudge accents. It was light bodied and had a slickly smooth mouthfeel. The taste was caramel but it was a bit weird - nothing seemed overly off but I got an odd vibe from it. Bitter caramel malts, sweet, rough and with a syrupy aftertaste. Not for me.
