Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8.5
Cask at the Sair Inn, Linthwaite, on 19th February 2011. Ink-black with pale brown head of foam. Oatiness and burnt malts abound. Coffee, then slight citric glaze in-mouth. Medium-length bittersweet end on textured mouthfeel.

Cask at the Sair Inn, Linthwaite on 19th February 2011. Pale yellow with a white head. Citric and yeast notes in aroma then quite citric lemony main kick. Slightly grainy, bumpy texture. Lemony finish.
