Cloudy yellow-orange pour with a medium frothy white head that dissipates gradually to a dense film. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of herbal hops, citrus and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of herbal hop, tangerine, grapefruit and roast malt. The finish is smooth with a lingering citrusy hop burn. Sneaky at 10% and a good beer all around.

16 oz can from the brewery. Thanks, W! Growler Night coming in the form of an east coast 4 pack this week. I can make an exception here. Pours quite bright, with thick haze, and a ton of loose foam head and lacing. Melon hops, some tropical tones, some piney hops as well. Wonderfully unfiltered and flavorful. Really had to pour this to be surprised at the haze in the appearance. Drinks more like the best coast. Long resinous hop bitter, pineapple like finish. Really tasty imperial.

Draft at Lowes Foods, Greer SC. The aroma and flavor are exactly the same. Mild caramel mall with soft citrus. The finish is pine needles and herb. West Coast IPA that’s about as old-school as you can possibly get. You have to like West Coast IPA’s to really enjoy it.

Draft at Craft and Draft in Columbia, SC. Pours hazy yellow-gold with slightly off-white head. Small patterns. Head fades to a small cover and a tight collar of miniscule bubbles. Overt pineapple aroma follows into a massive pineapple aroma. Well rounded mouthfeel with velvety coating Slight bitter finish with great retained sugars.

Draft: Poured a hazy yellow with a white lacing head. Aroma is grapefruit, fruity, hops, very alcohol. Taste is hops and alcohol bitter bite, fruity, citrus, grapefruit, acidic pineapple, passionfruit, lime belt thru the finish.
