Looks and smells like a Belgian brune, hints of prune and molasses. Sweet, but flavor is on the light side, not much palate either in taste or mouthfeel, No hint at the 6% ABV either. Easy to drink, not heavy, but not memorable either.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one. Bottle looks good, a bit complex. Beer in the glass a bit turbid, nice head. Starts malty, mild, some lemon notes. Finish drier, reminds me of some cookies. Interesting.

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, amber to copper colour with a short and tanned frothy head. Toast-malty and slightly yeasty aroma with caramel, nutty notes and shy hints of hops. Slightly bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty, nutty and yeasty taste with caramel and traces of chocolate, the latter especially towards the mildly bitter and delicately hoppy finish. 12.XII.12
