Can thanks to Brian. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, floral, grass. Medium body, grass, yeast, spice, dry finish, good.

Can pour. It's an opaque black with no sparkle, finger-width beige head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong sweet roasted malts and light toffee. Taste is sweet roasted malts and toffee, hint of anise. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not super complex but a good representative of the style and strong aroma and flavor.

Can from Tfontana, thanks for the trade. Dark brown in color with a frothy long lived off white head. Caramel maltiness with ashy chocolate and bits of fruit and earth to counter. Pretty decent American porter.

Can (1/24/20) pour from Worldwide Wine & Spirits. Appearance is virtually opaque very dark brown (almost black) with trace sparkle, ring of off-white head and no lacing. Aroma is mix of roasted malt, bread, nuts. Taste is earth/woody side of roasted malt, light toffee. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering bitter. Overall, nothing to really fault here but not that exciting. I don't get the chocolate and coffee aspects and the earthy/woody roast is not my favorite. But competent.

16 oz. can shared by tfontana, proper social distancing at 14 feet away on my back porch. Not joking. Roasted barley, chocolate hints, coffee like Aroma. Flavor is a direct reflection. Very soft bitterness in the backend. Good body for a porter with a dry texture.

Can (12820127) pour. Appearance is crystal clear gold (been a while since I've had an IPA like this!) with nice sparkle, finger-plus white foamy head with decent retention and nice leggy lacing. Aroma is dank, mild citrus and fruit, malt backbone. Taste is dank, piney resin, mild fruit/melon, late biscuit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with pleasant, moderately strong bitterness. Overall, maybe I just don't gravitate to this style anymore but this seems somewhat rare nowadays. All the way back before IPA's were opaque or bitter bombs when there was just flavor and modest bitterness. Seems like more could have been wrung from these hops and it's not going to wow anybody but it's still a nice change of pace to return to.
