Grainy, sweet malty accent.  Med body for a macrobrew.  Good while on Ipanema beach, but that might be the extent of its usefulness.

Draught at a random restaurant. Pale colour. Bland, mostly watery with a little graininess and tart apple. Whatever. I’m in Rio.

0.33 l bottle @Beertija, Zagreb. It poured pale yellow body with tiny head. Crapy pale lager aroma, sour corny and honey malty. Weak flavor, dusty and corny. Sourish. Thinner to (somehow) medium body which managed to create long and acidic corny finish. Ordered it with zero expectations, that’s exactly what I got.

Brahma, InBev UK, 4.3%. Pale yellow-golden body. Tiny creamy white head. Unappealing saliva-like sweetish malty nose. Empty sweetish soft corny taste. Vague pollen. Crap.

Golden with a white head - hints of malts in the aroma - taste has some malt in it, but not any bitterness to talk about - short sweet ending - boring, but nothing wrong

Bottled, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with fluffy white head and soft carbonation. Aroma of grainy malt, grassy hops and citrus. Common malty lagerish taste is followed by crisp and dry mouthfeel. while finished with light hoppiness. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Disappointed when heard that’s brewed in Holland, otherwise still fairly drinkable...

0.33l clear bottle. A crystal clear golden one, some few unfiltered particles floating around and it has a small just off-white lager head. Smells light sweet and quite grainy. I get some sweet corn-like tones here. Not much more. It's average to lively carbonated and it has a thin almost watery mouthfeel. The taste is not that bad actually. Yes, it it on the sweet side of the scale, but I detect no skunkiness what so ever from the clear bottle. Really easy drinking, and it's leaving a mild malty taste in my mouth. 06.08.2012

600cl bottles a gogo in a bar at SP. Contains antioxidants and stabilizers. Appears light yellow with a moderately sustained white head. Light aroma of malts with a heavier presence of grains and adjucts (corn, other unmalted cereals), this is an highly sessionable one. I had like 3 of them, it was appreciable with something to eat. Reminded me of Spanish San Miguel and a bit of Italian Forst. Simple lager, very easy to go, almost couldn’t feel that 5% abv. Extra light body, rather flat taste, moderate carbonation. Plain average, but probably a must here. (20.08.2012)

Update: this seems to be common in central SP, usually served extra cold or below zero, into ice buckets with small "shot" glasses. Description as above, curious vintage design. Possibily this is the best Cerveza you can have during petiscos and local meals. (02.2014)

Update: ok together with serramalte this is the best, and pretty much the standard, of the cerveja here in Itaim area of SP. Price ranges from R$9 to R$12 a bottle. Almost everybody goes with this, and for a good reason, others such as Brahma or Bohemia are just tasteless. Seems to have a myth status here, it just breaks the bank. Can’t compete with european standards, but that’s it.
