Draught @ Albion. Opaque dark brown with small foamy tan head, rich mocha aroma, low carbonation, bitter mocha taste with molasses, thick body, long bitter micha finish. The molasses or the cocoa nibs have introduced a strange, almost milky flavor that’s difficult to describe but certainly not desirable.

Draught @ Albion. Slightly cloudy rich yellow with small foamy whitish head, faint watermelon aroma, high carbonation, slightly sweet wheaty taste with artificial feeling watermelon flavor, thin body, abrupt finish. The flavor is so unnatural.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden with small foamy white head, sweet apple aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish apple taste with a hint of hops at the end, smooth body, long finish with apple aftertaste. Interesting, easy to drink.

So this brewery started canning tall boys at the brewery, not the mass produced BBC stuff. It was also a deal for Wednesday with 2 bucks off. So, when their decent DIPA was $10 and I was going to a friend’s house to eat Indian food, I thought it would be a nice pairing. However, when I got to their place I noticed they accidentally gave me a 4 pack of this cause the cans are the same except for a sticker. I was pissed. Also, this is fake cough syrup with nothing very Berliner Weisse about it.

Draft at brewery. Description says hazy but this is clear glowing orange. Aroma is lots of mildly bitter hop tropical fruits. A little rotten fruit there as well really ruining a nice hop beer. Flavor has less fruit and more bitterness becoming a bit generic.
