[ As Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, grass, fruity, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141227]

Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, mild nuttiness along with some alcohol and mild toasted notes. Flavour is nutty, toffeeish, a bit toasted and some alcohol. Rather low on the bitterness.

Draught. Cloudy bright yellow with very small foamy white head, doughy aroma, thin body, tangy yeast taste, low carbonation, longish finish. Not a very remarkable brew.

Aroma: It has a solid, light, clean hop aroma, some pine and citrus, and some pale malts
Appearance: Pours a clear orange color with a decent amount of head and some average lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, balance between the malty sweetness and medium bitterness
Palate: The body of this one is light-medium, it has a solid mouthfeel, and a slightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I found this to be a solid, drinkable IPL. It has a nice enough flavor and a solid mouthfeel. Nothing special, but still pretty enjoyable.
