Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, sappy and some slight herbal notes. Flavour is caramel, fruits, some wood, herbs and mild earthy notes as well. Mild grassyness in the finish.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry, grassy and slight herbal. Bitter, dry fruity and citrusy. Bitter and citrusy/mouldy finish. Ends bitter and dry.

Cask (handpump) @ Market Porter, 9 Stoney Street, Southwark, London, Greater London, England SE1 9AA.Clear medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, hay, fruity, light hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, acrid fruity bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110618]

Cask at GBBF 2010. A dark amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of spices, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish, where the malt note lingers.

Cask@Market Porter, London. Slightly hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, vanillaish and mildly vanilaish. Flavour is being quite much the same in a nice balance. Is this really a pils? Tastes more like a golden ale to me.

500 ml bottle, from The Cheese & Wine Shop, Darlington. Copper colour, large to moderate off-white head. Strong and pleasant aroma of malts, caramel, raisins, dark dried fruits, blackcurrants, a hint of tobacco. Fruity flavour, notes of raisins and blackcurrants, also notes of caramel malts, but the beer is not too sweet. Moderate but sufficient hops in the finish. Very drinkable.

500 ml bottle, from The Cheese & Wine Shop, Darlington. ABV is 4.5%. Black colour, large to moderate tan head. Aroma of roasted barley and cold coffee, hints of ashes. Dry flavour, roasty notes of coffee and dark chocolate, a hint of ashes again. Moderate bitterness.
