Red brown colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have sweet and slightly spicy malt notes. Very autumnal.

Can that Jim shared - cheers! A golden brew with a light haze and a thin white head. Pine up front, then it grows resinous with a nice marmalade finish. Very drinkable; good stuff.

Can from Waitrose. Deep gold with a thin white head and a rather aggressive fizz. Melon, mango and satsuma with a little grapefruit and pine. Middling bitterness. Ok IPA, but fails to stand out from the crowd and my boredom with this style continues.

Handpull cask at the Magnet, Stockport. The light side of mid-gold, clear with a massive white head. Pear drops, pine, grapefruit peel and even light booze in the aroma. Bittersweet taste, more boozy pear drops (odd considering the ABV but it is what it is) leading to the long crisp finish. Not overly exciting but this is a very nice beer.

Rocky tan head on a reddish brown still body. Pine, sugar & spices aroma. Medium bodied, creamy on the tongue with an effervescent clean back. Sweet berry, spices, rye, pine & resin tastes with a long tangy finish. Deece.

Appearance- foams out of the can. Ruby red with a big foamy beige head. Aroma- malty, lots of toffee and caramel, dark fruit, liquorice, honey hints. Taste- rye, malt, toffee, biscuity malt, raisin, more malt, quite a full mouthfeel.

Pale blond with light haze and lasting head. Aroma and flavour have piney hop notes and bitter citrus pith too. Very clean. Lasting dry aftertaste.
