330ml Bottle - Golden with a foamy white head. Grapes, gooseberries, lemon and a hint of spice in the aroma. Slightly soapy taste with notes of grapefruit, grapes, spice and lemon. Refreshing, although it might get a bit sickly after a while.

Cask (Free Trade Inn, Newcastle) - Hazy golden in colour. Banana, pineapple and a hint of spice int he aroma. Lemon, coriander, banana and peach can be detected in the taste.

330ml Bottle - Black with a foamy tan head. Roasted malt, liquorice and a hint of dried fruit in the aroma. Roasted aroma with notes of coffee, plain chocolate, liquorice and roasted malt. The finish is quite rich and roasted, perhaps even a little burnt.

Cask (Town Wall, Newcastle) - Amber in colour. Peach, grapefruit and toffee in the aroma. Moderately hoppy taste with grapefruit, peach and toffee standing out. Plenty of flavour for the strength.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 9 Apr 2014) Reddish amber colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots, toast, orange peel and red fruit. Malty, fruity taste with notes of red fruit, caramel and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.

500ml Bottle (Free Trade Inn, Newcastle) - Golden with a white head. Grapefruit, syrup and peach in the aroma. Mango, passion fruit and peach can be detected in the taste. The best gluten free beer I’ve had thus far.
