Cask (Free Trade Inn, Newcastle) - It says that it’s 6% on the pump clip. Copper red with a slight haze. Toffee, rye and a hint of spice in the aroma. Fruity and fairly bitter taste with notes of grapefruit, caramel and rye detected.

Cask (Newcastle Beer Festival 2014) - Copper in colour. Raisins, marmalade and malt in the aroma. Dried fruit, orange peel and biscuity malt can all be detected in the taste.

Cask (Crown Posada, Newcastle) - Golden with a small white head. Lemon and grapefruit in the aroma. Zesty, tangy and fairly hoppy taste with lemon and grapefruit dominating. Refreshing.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, nutty, caramel, grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20131229]
