Bottled (from AbM). Amber colour mediumsized fluffy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is big time toasted notes and a huge amount of crystal maltiness. (bottle) Golden, little head. Aroma had mild hints of tea. Light body, medium carbonation. Flavour starts with pleasant caramel notes and is mildly bitter. Overall, pleasant easy drinking. [Review from 23/09/2012]

500ml bottle. Wonderful, clear, ruby red glowing, mahagony colour with average, creamy, fairly lating, minimally lacing, beige head. Grainy aroma, notes of oat flakes, a fruity touch of blackcurrant. Taste is dry, hints of oat flakes, very subtle sweetness, a fruity touch of red and black berries, a touch of cocoa powder. Leaves my slightly indecisive - nice fruitiness, slightly aggravating oaty dryness.
