Very crisp copper coloured body with a light brown and brone tint, all with a nice two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of dank hops with a very resinous and piney scent and a deep caramel and earthy malt aroma. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavour at first that isn’t bitter, just flavourful of resin and citrus fruit and a well-balanced malt bite coupled with a faint hint of apricot and stone fruit sweetness. Aftertaste shows a good balance of the hops and malt with more of an emphasis on floral and piney notes throughout. Overall, a very nice APA and a good balance with a refreshing easy-to-drink quality make this a nice option. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 31-January-2015 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 24-February-2015.

Pretty dmn good for style. Just the right mix of pilsener malts and citra for a little lime infusion. Pours golden with decent initial head and lacing. Light bitterness. Very drinkable. Light tangy finish from citra hops and good malt backbone. A very drinkable beer. Bottle.

Bottle from Half Time Beverage, New York. Pours a deep dark brown with a small brown head which soon disappears to nothing. Aroma of milk chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, licorice and coffee. Not too sweet, fairly heavy on bitterness initially. Relatively thin bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Worth bringing back to uk.

12 oz bottle dated 01/02/2015. Aroma has a light bready malt character and a slight grainy, yeasty note. Large citra hop character with a lot of grapefruit and tropical fruit and a light background resin note. Medium light stone fruit. Pours a slightly cloudy, pale yellow gold with a big, thick, white head that exhibits really nice retention. High lacing and medium legs. Flavor has a similar grain and bread backbone with a strong, assertive bitterness. A light butter note is present towards the finish. Moderately strong hop flavors of grapefruit and resin with lighter tropical and stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice beer though I do think I pick up hints of diacetyl. Lots of hop character and seemingly more bitter than the 55 IBUs it claims.

Bottle. Pours black with a small tan head. Smells of luscious ruby red grapefruit, light caramel. Taste is a nice combo of grapefruit, orange, and caramel. Yummy.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Smells of dark chocolates, coffee, possibly some dark fruit. Cheap dark chocolate candy, coffee, raspberry. Maybe? It certainly tastes like it to me.

From a bottle slightly hazy pale lager, almost clear. Has a decent recognizable lager aroma. Taste on the other hand is big old country pilsner sharpness. Yes, little kick in there. Unexpected considering, this was labeled as a friendly lager, and it smelled like one too. Good solid pilsner fer sure. Pretty close to the old german country.
