341ml bottle from HogtownHarry; Nose was a nice caramelly malt with a slight vanilla note in the background; Clear rusty brown with a medium beige head; flavor is a little watery but pleasant with light caramel, sweetness, and a little pepperiness. Not that bad for a lager!

Brown bottle, 341 ml, Ontario Craft Brewers Discovery Pack purchased at the LCBO, savoured on January 8 2008; eye: dark copper, clear, no effervescence, beige head that falls rather rapidly, no lacing; nose: malt, corn, light hops, diluted caramel; mouth: malt, a bit of cardboard, a bit of "itchiness" on the tip of the tongue, malty finale with hops more present than expected, slightly grainy texture but mainly watery, mildly sweet, lightly bitter, light-medium body, rather carboanted; overall: so? Bottle: Poured a deep orangey color ale with a nice foamy head with OK retention but no lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with light spice mix is weaker then anticipated. Taste is a mix between some nice caramel malt with some notes of cloves and ginger. Body is thinner then expected with some medium carbonation. I was expecting a bit more character from this one but enjoyable nonetheless.

A dark golden ale with a thin off white head. A sweet caramel and nutmeg aroma, pumpkin spices, expected. In mouth, a clean crisp malt with sustained cloved and nutmeg, lightly oily mouthfeel, and medium bodied. Very nice for the style. Dec. 14 2007.

Dark burgundy-amber colour. Aroma of canned peaches, some caramel and tobacco. Light body. Some toffee notes, light smoke and earth. Esters of pear, golden plum. Interesting interpretation is nothing like a pale ale, but isn’t all that bad as a beer.

A dark amber with brown hues and a thick light moka head. Aroma is very nutty, caramel, fudge, very enticing. In mouth, a bit too much in your faces, but good nutty malt, with sweet coffee moka, and some burned toast bitterness. None of the hops expected, i guess its covered by the malts. A good brown ale, but this isnt an APA. However, still a good beer. Bought at LCBO.

Bottle: Poured a clear orangey color ale with a small foamy head with no retention and no lacing. Aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon is dominating and well balance. Taste is also dominated by some pumpkin notes with some cinnamon and maybe subtle cloves notes. Full body with some minimal carbonation. Well done overall with some good balance.

This pale ale was a very dark orange colour with a nice white foamy head. To the nose you could smell scents of hopps, sweet malt and ripe fruit just to name a few. First taste was very smooth and malty with a hoppy finish and a somewhat bitter palate. A nice IPA.

Can: Poured a deep dark brown color ale with a big foamy head with good retention and some nice lacing. Aroma of dry malt with some medium notes of caramel malt. Taste is also dominated by some medium caramel malt with a slightly bitter ending. Hops presence was more subdued then what I had expected with some medium carbonation. Interesting but not necessarily something I would go back to very often.
