Jan ’15. A 0.5 l fliptop bottle, thanks Zrinka! It poured very appealing dark brow body with small brown head. Started to taste it a bit too cold. Showed caramel, coffee and herbal aroma. Flavor was bitter at first, soon balanced and overwhelmed with a pleasant sweetness, like chocolate, cocoa, sweet coffee and other roasted malt. Showed hints of wood, peat and licorice. Pleasantly complex within its medium to full body. Finish copied the flavor, rounding it almost like a schwarzbier, but full and smoother. Needs some warmth to be fully, slowly enjyed. Nice.

Tap at RJ. Clear dark brown colour. Stable white head. Quite good beer. Good interpretation of mild, dry, thin, slightly roasted. Cherry presence is only light and complementary, adding bonus flavour layer of slightly tart tanninish flavour. Easy to drink. Very good.
